HOT GLASS TORCH BLOWING WORKSHOP

What to Expect

• No experience needed
• Introducing and explaining the basics of blowing glass on a torch
• Showing and explaining the steps in creating glass forms
• Your own hands-on glass experience

What You'll Create

• Blowing of vessels, miniatures, vases, ball balls and ornaments
• Sculpting solid glass into figurines, jewellery, earrings, Christmas ornaments and art pieces

What to Wear

• Cotton long sleeve shirt
• Jeans or work pants
• Closed boots or protective footwear
• Sunglasses (working glass is hot and you will be working on a big flame)

About the Instructor

Wolfgang Engel is an international artist with 35 years of glass blowing experience. He has taught many students in Germany and Australia and will make you feel at ease at any stage of your art endeavors.
